The 10th Annual Strawberry Festival Lawrence County will feature activities for all ages and interests. Click on a link below or scroll down this page for information on the various featured activities.
Lawrence County students in grades 4-8 will run a 1-mile race Friday morning, May 2. PE teachers will choose the students who run. Click here for the course map.

10:00 am: 4th Grade Boys
10:10 am: 4th grade Girls
10:25 am: 5th Grade Boys
10:35 am: 5th Grade Girls
10:50 am: 6th grade Boys
11:00 am: 6th grade Girls
11:15 am: 7-8th Grade Boys
11:25 am: 7-8th Grade Girls
Awards
Medals will be awarded to top 10 runners in each division.
Invidual winners in each division will receive trophies.
School winners in each division will receive team trophies.
The overall school champions in the Girls' and Boys' divisions for the day will receive trophies.
Young ladies and women of any age are invited to participate in the Miss Strawberry Beauty Pageant. The event will be May 3 inside of the Moulton Recreation Center. This is a new event for the 10th Annual Strawberry Festival Lawrence County! The new pond at the Moulton Recreation Center will be stocked with catfish and children will be able to fish on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3. Prizes will be given for largest fish! Another new event for the festival this year is a tour of Louallen Farms. Louallen Farms has been providing strawberries to the festival since the festival's first year. If you have ever wanted to see where the strawberries come from, this is your chance to hop on a bus at the Moulton Recreation Center and be transported a few miles outside of Moulton to Louallen Farms. Bicyclists of all ages are invited to participate in a bike parade on Saturday, May 3, at Sweet Leona's Ice Cream Shoppe starting at 9:00 am. Moulton Trail Life Troop AL-0356 and American Heritage Girls Troop AL-0256 will host a wooden car derby race on May 2-3, 2025, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on both days. The races will be held inside the Moulton Recreation Center. Click on the link below for a flyer with race information.
